27. Hey in case you didn’t know the theme of this October is foreign horror. I just only know Japanese ones the most because I’m a huge NERD. But hey let’s get one from Norway here.
Troll Hunter is the second best found footage movie I’ve ever seen. And I haven’t SEEN A LOT. Wait.
Troll Hunter is one of the BEST found footage movies ever made. The DVD cover spoils a big thing BUT APPARENTLY I’M THE ONLY ONE WHO CARES ABOUT THAT! Like, okay. This one movie. Called Big Man Japan? There is a HUGE PAY OFF after like the first twenty minutes of the movie, but you will only get it if you somehow didn’t see the DVD case cover, didn’t see the image they put on the DVD disk, and somehow clicked PLAY without looking at the menus because they spoil it there too.
BUT YEAH TROLL HUNTER. It’s about the Mystery Gang filming what they THINK is a poacher for BEARS but is in fact a government issued Troll Hunter to murder the trolls that go out of their territory. Within the following 103 minutes they learn a little bit more about the man who spends his nights murdering trolls, and maybe, with a little help, they learn a little something about themselves as well. Or they die. Horribly. It’s one of those. No this film is great. Even if a FAIR BIT OF IT is just them showing off Norway. Sure is WET, that’s all I have to say. Still, buy this it’s great I love it I love it a lot. One of my favorite Horror movies now too. Jurassic Park level special effects yeah I’M TOSSING THAT OUT THERE WANNA FIGHT ABOUT IT?
Man my luck with movies suddenly got a lot better! As I enter the final stretch I got a good feeling that things can only go up from here! Yep. Not setting myself up for anything at all.
If you haven’t seen it TROLL HUNTER is a wicked Norwegian low budget mockumentary.
